The Utah nature-informed therapy community is partnering with Nature and Human Health Utah to gather for an evening of connection and learning in collaboration. This event will bring together mental health practitioners, educators, students, and community members who are passionate about the intersection of nature and human well-being.
The gathering will also feature an introduction from author, Heidi-Schreiber-Pan, on The Ground Beneath Our Work, an invitational book to reimagine healing as something that happens not only between people, but in relationship with the living world. Drawing on story, research, and practical application, Dr. Heidi Schreiber-Pan introduces the ROOTED™ framework to help mental health professionals and other helpers integrate nature-informed care into everyday settings—from therapy offices to parks and community spaces. With a tone that is both grounded and spacious, the book guides readers in gently unlearning disconnection and rediscovering nature as a steady partner in regulation, meaning, and belonging—offering a relational, ethical approach to care for a world in need.
All who are engaged in or curious about nature-informed therapy and human health are welcome to attend.
