National Geographic Society Names Nalini Nadkarni Explorer at Large
Nature and Human Health Utah’s founder and co-leader has been named ‘Explorer at Large’ by National Geographic. Explorers at Large hold the highest distinction within the organization. They are preeminent leaders in their field who also serve as mentors to other National Geographic Explorers.
Division of Outdoor Recreation opens applications for Utah Children Outdoor Recreation and Education (UCORE)!
UCORE provides high-quality, outdoor-focused learning experiences to youth ages 6-18 in Utah. This funding aims to teach youth the physical skills that can make outdoor recreation part of a healthy and active lifestyle. UCORE complements the state’s Every Kid Outdoors (EKO) Initiative and hopes to provide more opportunities so no child is left inside.
